What would you like to change about yourself?
Would you like to feel more energetic? Lose weight? Improve your immune system?
Whatever you want to change, you cannot do it by applying creams, counting calories, popping pills or from hours of exercise. Too many people are looking for quick fixes to a life-long problem. Whatever it is that bothers you about your body, you have to start by working from the ground up.
Summer is approaching and many people will be starting another diet following their failed New Year’s Resolutions, restricting caloric intake and popping slimming pills. It won’t work. 95% of all dieters regain any lost weight (and more) within a year.
Some people are suffering from digestive problems, taking anti-acids for their heartburn, laxatives for their constipation plus paracetamol for the constipation related headaches.
While others are drinking a week’s worth of energy drinks in a day just to get them through to the evening! What they don’t realise is that the years of stimulants, late nights and skipping breakfast has literally burned them out!
This list could go on, but the point is many people don’t know what to do; nutritional guidelines have become so confusing that not even the teachers know what to advise! We seem to be becoming more and more unhealthy, fat, depressed and tired as a nation. Statistics show that we are one of the fattest and unhealthiest countries in the world. Don’t you think it is about time we all made our own health our own responsibility?
