CERTIFIED FIRST AID COURSE

This one day course, offered by the reputable Holos Healthcare & Training, has been designed for small companies, the self-employed, healthcare practitioners, martial arts instructors, yoga, pilates or tai chi teachers and individuals who realise the potential for accidents in their workplace, where the workplace is a low hazard area such as an office. The course concentrates on the management of heart attacks and resuscitation, the unconscious casualty, choking, wounds, fits, common medical emergencies & basic legislation.

The qualification gained is recognized within the UK, can only be issued by HSE Approved providers or via QCA approval, and will enable attendees considered competent on completion of training to carry out accepted First Aid procedures in their present (or future) places of work.

Maximum use is made of structured practical time, and the aim is for students to learn First Aid in a relaxed, informative atmosphere whilst having fun.

On completion of the course, the candidate will:

• Be registered with Holos Healthcare & Training
• Receive a certificate valid for 3 years (though it is now recommended that annual ½ day refresher training should be undertaken during this period)
• If extra modules are completed, they will be indicated on their certificate

COST OF THE COURSE: £85 – payment is required at the time of the booking. Payment can be made either by BACS or cheque made payable to Kikodo Limited
