Alison Endenburg – Homeopathy
BSc (Hons) LCHE RSHom
Homeopath
Homeopathy is a safe and gentle system of medicine that can help a wide range of illnesses.
One of the main reasons for its success is that homeopathy treats the individual as a whole person, considering not only physical symptoms, but mental and emotional ones too. It also looks at the cause of symptoms – emotional stresses and events that happened around the time the symptoms started.
Homeopathic remedies stimulate the immune system so that the body’s natural healing capacity is enhanced, thus the body heals itself. They are made from naturally occurring substances that have not been modified or synthesised, they are just the way nature made them. Remedies are diluted so they are safe and gentle. When prescribed by a homeopath, they are safe during pregnancy, and safe for all ages including babies, children and elderly patients.
Alison graduated in 1990, with a Bachelor of Primary Education from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She gained experience working in teaching and later advertising before moving to the United Kingdom in 1997, where she continued working in London as a copywriter until the birth of her first child.
Alison first experienced homeopathy as an 8 year old. Every winter she had gone from one illness to the next until she was taken to see a homeopath. Her health improved dramatically. As her immune system became stronger with further treatment, she got fewer illnesses and recovered more quickly each time, until her tendency towards chest infections was removed entirely. Members of her family visited a homeopath for other ailments including hepatitis, dysmenorrhoea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and IBS, and the improvements were remarkable.
When Alison had her own children, she chose homeopathy to provide gentle, effective treatment without side-effects. It worked brilliantly for nappy rashes, colic, ear infections, temper tantrums, warts etc. She was so impressed by the way it strengthened their immunity that she decided to become a homeopath herself, qualifying with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Licentiate from the College of Homeopathic Education in London.
As a mother and teacher, her special areas of interest as a practitioner are fertility, pregnancy, babies and toddlers, children’s behaviour, learning difficulties, ADHD and ADD. She has full membership and insurance through the Society of Homeopaths and has an advanced CRB certificate.

Jo Constantinou – Energy and Blocks Clearing using SRT (Spiritual Response Therapy) & Neuro Linguistic Programming NLP
After qualifying as an NLP Practitioner in 2001, Jo studied the effects of how our thought patterns can positively or negatively affect our lives. It was quite a revelation and felt empowering. With this new way of thinking and communicating her life improved dramatically as she changed the way she saw the world, internally and externally. That was until many years later when one of her life challenges threw her off balance.
Jo did what many of us do; put on a brave face, pushed her emotions deep down inside and got on with the business of life. That was until her physical body decided differently.
Overnight her right knee swelled and it hurt to walk. At first Jo enjoyed a week’s rest, but a year on and it wasn’t so much fun. Conflicting medical advice from doctors and specialists resulted in her not being able to walk more than a few feet without pain. Because of the change in posture Jo was also suffering from severe back pain and couldn’t sleep. Jo felt like she was walking around in a fog, depressed, and had lost confidence in her self. Most of her social life and her business was now suffering. IIf it wasn’t for the support and patience of her wonderful husband, family and friends Jo don’t know how she would have coped.
At her lowest point a spiritual friend said, ”What is it you will have to face when you can walk again?”
Jo realise now that she had been avoiding dealing with emotions from the past. J She then sought help from a Kinesiologist who introduced her to Spiritual Response Therapy, SRT. The practitioner accurately told Jo about areas of her life which were causing her difficulties by the use of a pendulum and charts. As Jo began to feel the changes within herself, she made the decision to study this amazing system myself.
During the process to become qualified, her life changed greatly. Anxieties and issues dropped away as Jo cleared negative programming and blocks. For the first time in years Jo felt calmer, lighter, more focussed and finally at peace. Most importantly Jo was regaining her confidence and her body was healing. However, she had a feeling there was still plenty to discover along her new path.
Jo went on to study the process of emotional release healing and developed her own simplified technique. Soon she could successfully identify her negative and limiting emotions, such as worry, fear, shame, guilt (to name a few!) She also discovered her knee issue was that she hadn’t dealt with her past challenge and she was afraid of moving forward.
As Louise L. Hay, states in her book, “the body is a mirror image of our thoughts and beliefs.” She explains, our legs carry us forward in life and the knees represent flexibility. We want to move forward but we don’t want to change our ways. Many alternative therapists use her book, ‘You Can Heal Your Life’, and they find that with 90-95% of their clients, mental causes are the reason for pain or dis-ease in the body.
Many of our negative emotions stem from something we’ve been through in the past, and more often than not they are sub-conscious. Therefore, we often don’t understand a strong reaction to a simple issue.
Once you identify what the feeling or memory is about you can start to resolve the emotion and let it go. This process is very effective and not only promotes healing within but peace of mind. Jo finds this method very empowering! Instead of feeling emotions controlling us, we are the ones in control.
Jo no longer fears moving forward. She embraces it, and Jo love her life. Walking is something Jo will never take for granted. Gratitude in life brings rewards alone. Jo now has her life back and most importantly discovered a passion that makes her the happiest!
The path Jo is on now is still a learning one! Everyone Jo meets along the way teaches her something new and she looks forward to her continued learning.
